Do you want to pass the admissions to an art academy in one go? With targeted training you are well prepared and you can start the admissions with confidence. With an admission training you become familiar with doing homework assignments and doing assignments during the admissions. Extra attention is also paid to your motivation and the interview.

The admission training is a 3-day course, which is given on three consecutive Saturdays or Sundays.

Your individual guidance

Admissions to the art academies in the Netherlands have a twofold purpose. Firstly, your future teachers want to get to know you as a person. The admission interviews and introductory videos were created for this purpose. During a personal interview - written, live, in a video presentation or in an online chat - you can make your ambitions and motivations for your choices known.

A second goal is that the examiners and teachers want to know what baggage you arrive with and whether you are able to successfully complete the training in the coming years. The portfolio is important for this, but the admission assignments (home assignments and possibly assignments during the admission day itself) are also crucial.

Who is this training for?

If you have enough work for a portfolio and have already made a choice for which major you want to apply for admission, but you do not yet have any experience with the admission procedure (in the Netherlands), this short training can help you to master the admission days in a focused and confident manner.

How will this training help you?

You will learn how to create admission assignments. This is done in a playful and investigative way, which everyone can master. The research is mainly focused on the visual aspect. You will be trained to apply your talent for design in an assignment situation.

You will also learn to formulate your motivation, future plans and what you want to achieve. It is good to prepare for this seriously. Your motivation interview and your answers to questions that arise in the admission procedure are part of your assessment. Strong and focused motivation can sometimes even be the deciding factor during the admission round.

You can add all the work that you will do during this training to your portfolio.
